Lot #10 - MGB V8 roadster, Brooklands Green with Biscuit interior, Arizona car, complete restoration and V8 conversion 3.5 liter Rover V8 alloy engine, performance set-up includes high-compression pistons, Iski high performance cam, Holly 390 carburetor, Offenhauser JWR intake manifold, Mallory Unilite ignition. The transmission is a 4-speed gearbox and electric overdrive, MGB GT V8 rear axle with 3.07 gears. Jet-hot ceramic-metallic coated MGB-RV8 style headers and dual exhaust. The suspension has been upgraded with the Ron Hopkinson handing kit, including front and rear uprated sway bars, lowering springs and tube shocks. Mini-Lite style alloy wheels with Bridgestone Potenzas. Although British Leyland produced only about 2,100 MGB GT V8's from 1972 to 1974, a V8 roadster was never produced. Weighing only 2,300lbs, this may be one of the fastest cars on the road. You've never heard an MG sound this good either. V8 conversion with MGB GT V8 parts and parts supplied by the V8 Conversion Company of Kent, England. This MGB V8 roadster has about 16,000 miles since the V8 conversion and restoration was completed. This car is fully sorted and is great as a daily driver. Owned by long time MG and British Car Enthusiast for over 25 years.
