Description
Lot #646.1 - No expense spared show winner. I purchased from the original owner. He drove the car less than 32,000 miles and then it underwent a complete street machine transformation. The car received a show quality repaint of its original color Bright Red. The foundation of this vehicle is its 406cid powerplant. It begins with a Klein-built engine with a compression ratio of 10.28:1 and has less 2 hours of run time. The NOS kit is a professionally installed for top of the line, NHRA approved 225hp boost. The "little" addition consists of two basic systems. The first is an adjustable direct port injection that is button activated for a 150hp boost. The second is a micro switch activated by the throttle body. This second boost produces an additional 75hp through a mister that has been incorporated into the throttle body. Fed by a dual-tank setup with an NHRA approved blow-down tube. An impressive powerplant has to be mated to an equally impressive and strong drivetrain. Therefore, we spiffed up the transmission with a 2500 rpm racing torque converter, a Summit deep finned pan and lots of TLC. The driveshaft is then matted to a rear end with 3.73 T.P.I. gears. The axles have been polished and powdercoated for the show-stopper effect. The car rides on 17 & 18" custom wheels mounted to Firestone tires. The front suspension of this vehicle has polished A-arms, Carrerra front shocks and heavy duty tie-rod ends. The rear suspension has standard Corvette parts with some awesome additions and modifications. A set of Doug Ripple modified trailing arms, brackets and bushings have been installed. Also, AVO adjustable rear shocks and Guidstrand rear heim-links. The stock half shafts have been removed, polished and powder coated. When this was done, all CV-joints had been replaced. Stopping power is delivered by powdercoated calipers that are fed by stainless steel braided lines. The pads engage on cross-drilled zinc-plated rotors. And as an added feature, a line-lock system is operational. Interior is full custom leather and cloth in red. Momo Corse logos are embroidered into the door panels and seats. You will not find a nicer example of a C4 show car anywhere. Turn key, Runs and drives flawlessly. **MAY NOT BE EMISSIONS COMPLIANT IN ALL 50 STATES**
