Lot #817 - For 1987, Cadillac introduced its answer to the Mercedes-Benz SL and the Jaguar XJS: the Allante. With exotic Pininfarina styling, V8 power and the latest technology, the Allante was poised to take on the world and win. However, with its $56,533 price tag, the Allante still ranked as the most expensive Cadillac ever sold up to that time. The cars remained extremely limited. This Allante, one of 2,569 produced for 1988, is finished in red with matching removable aluminum hardtop, tan leather interior and black folding soft convertible top. It has been fastidiously kept and driven just 38,848 actual miles from the time it was sold new at George Platis Cadillac in Bellevue, WA. Title represents mileage exempt. Seller represents original miles, and will provide a notarized, written affidavit to that effect. This car runs drives and performs superbly. Included with the purchase are the owner's handbooks in original leather folio, the Gold Key warranty card, an original Allante sales brochure, maintenance Records and CARFAX report.
