Lot #19 - Carefully maintained throughout since new, this Mercedes was driven less than 3,200 miles average annually from new and shows less than 63,388 original miles today. The 560SL is often referred to as the 107 chassis which was introduced in 1972 and ceased production in 1989. Known for its vault-like construction and nimble handling, these heavyweight roadsters continue to be sought after and for good reason. This is the most refined rendition of the 107 chassis and retains all of its original sheet metal and most of its original interior. Displaying the mostly original factory red paint and its accompanying Palomino interior, this 560SL is equipped with power windows, cruise control, automatic climate control, 4-wheel power disc brakes, automatic transmission, hardtop, alloy wheels and fully independent front and rear suspension. A terrific survivor and a pleasure to drive, this Mercedes SL has it all including the original owner's manual, maintenance book and Build Sheets.
