Lot #653 - 4,924 original miles. It has always been garage stored with car cover for extra protection. It has been started and run 30 minutes every month to prevent engine seals and gaskets from drying out. Annually the oil and oil filter have been changed and fuel tank has been drained then filled with fresh fuel with stabilizer. Documentation includes service records, ownership history, Window Sticker, build sheet, drivers manual, pizza box and magazine reviews. In the mid-80's, GM approached Lotus with the idea of developing the world's fastest production car. From that collaboration came the LT5 engine, an aluminum block V8 with 375hp, 4-overhead camshafts and 32-valves. The LT5's were built by Mercury Marine in Oklahoma the shipped to Bowling Green where they were installed in the "King of the Hill" ZR1. Evidence of its power was a 4.9 second 0-60 time and a quarter mile sprint in 11.9 seconds. The "King of the Hill" did not come cheap. This car was not meant for the bargain conscious, the ZR1 option added $27,016 to the base price of $31,979. This ZR1 is equipped with the only 2 options available which are dual removable roof panels at $915 and electronic air conditioning for $180. Window Sticker on this ZR1 was $60,090. Available only in a coupe, the 1990 ZR1 is distinguishable from other Corvettes by its 3" wider tail section, 11" wide rear wheels, its convex rear fascia with 4 square taillights and rear ZR1 badges. This is production # 1,017 of 3,049 ZR1s and 1 of 105 Polo Green ZR1s produced in 1990.
