Description

Lot #1314.2 - Evel Knievel's personal Mercedes-Benz S600. Here is your chance to own the last car ever driven by an Iconic Legend. Imagine yourself behind the wheel of a car driven the by the Ultimate Daredevil himself. Evel chose this car based on handling and performance but mostly speed and luxury. During his final years Evel wanted a car that was scary fast, but luxuriously comfortable. He had this car shipped to Florida for his personal use in 2005. In addition, he had it transported to his hometown of Butte, MT the next year to use during his annual Evel Knievel Days celebration. Only 21,682 original miles. Powered by a V12 5.5 Liter Bi-Turbo with automatic transmission. Robert Craig "Evel" Knievel (October 17, 1938 - November 30, 2007) was an American motorcycle daredevil, an entertainer famous in the United States and elsewhere between the late 1960s and early 1980s and legendary Icon today. Knievel's nationally televised motorcycle jumps, including his 1974 attempt to jump Snake River Canyon at Twin Falls, Idaho, represent four of the twenty most-watched ABC's Wide World of Sports events to date. His achievements and failures, including his record 433 broken bones, earned him several entries in the Guinness Book of World Records.
