Lot #1588 - Originally designed for corporate use by Jim Shaw of Bentley Motors, this design allows a wide range of driver percentiles, where the upper limit was set on the stature of Californian Governor Arnold Schwarzenneger. The construction of this racer was completed by SPA composites of England, who fabricate chassis and elements for both Formula 1 and IndyCart constructors. It is of FIA specification and quite likely the most expensive gravity racer ever built. Years of racing at the Goodwood Festival of Speed are baked into this design. A wide range of driver se-up choices helping it as the fastest racer at an early 2004 Laguna Seca test down the corkscrew and also winning it's class at Shady Canyon. The Bentley Kidston Club organization is one of a very exclusive membership where one of the inaugural and honorary members is Mr. Derek Bell, famous of his exploits behind the wheel of many racing formula chassis.
