Details: Out of all the Austin-Healey models, the early 100 is the car that is considered by many to be the prettiest and most balanced of the design. With its shorter wheelbase and signature fold-down windshield, this model brings back an era of romantic 50's sports racers. The BN-2 series of 100-4's short lived and were only produced in 1955 and 1956, with a production of roughly 4,000 units. Improvements over the original BN-1 model include a proper 4-speed gearbox with overdrive and better, larger drum brakes. This correct and original BN-2 offered here received a full restoration in the mid-1990's and has been used sparingly since. It is finished in its correct Healey Blue/navy trim color scheme as proven by its BMIHT certificate. Kurt Tanner Restorations, Austin-Healey marque specialists, have just completed a full detailing and re-commissioning on this nice example which still retains its correctly styled 48-spoke painted wire wheels. This California car still boasts its original issued black and yellow license plates and is presented in lovely overall condition. This early 4 cylinder Big Healey is a rare offering that is not to be missed and being a California delivered BN-2 in Healey Blue makes for a powerful combination to the astute collector. **TITLED WITH ENGINE NUMBER**
