Description
The pinacle of achievement for Fred and Augie Duesenberg was the majestic Model J. No other automobile epitomises success and excess in the jazz age so perfectly as a Model J. In subsequent years they have justifiably become the most prestigeous collectable automobile in the U.S.
This particular Duesenberg has been certified Category #1 by the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Club. It now has a superb convertible sedan body by the eminent coachbuilder, Le Baron.
The owner has recently gone through the engine on this car, including rebuilding the head with new valves, valve guides and valve springs. Also, the engine has been bored and new Arias pistons installed, as well as rebuilt generator and a new clutch.
The car runs beautifully and is a pleasure to drive.
