Description
Upgraded with a HEMI power plant, this Plymouth went through a complete frame-off restoration that was completed several years ago. The paint looks great. "HEMI" Bob Walker which is Hot Heads Research & Racing owner, built the engine himself from Lowgap, NC. He built the same engine for Hot Rod TV. This Plymouth has an all new 727 Torqueflite super duty transmission with stall converter and shift kit. Custom built front suspension by R&R Garage. They used the original torsion bars with reverse spindles and converted to rack & pinion. This car also has a DANA 8 1/4" rear end. The 331cid HEMI V8 with aluminum heads was built by Hot Heads in North Carolina. This company is well known for being the specialist in Chrysler, Dodge and Desoto HEMI. It is fueled by two Edelbrock carburetors. There is roughly only 800 miles on this engine since the rebuild. With the turn of the key, this car starts right up and sounds awesome. The paint is near show quality with no imperfections to speak of. The front and rear chrome bumpers are both in great condition. All the glass looks good and all the chrome trim pieces throughout the car are also in very nice condition. The car also has a new convertible top, as well as boot to cover the top up while it is down. The wheels are steel painted and have Plymouth center caps and are wearing P205/75R15 Uniroyal tires with lots of tread left. The interior is nearly spotless and shows no imperfections. The front and rear seats are in great condition.
