Description
This Camaro RS/SS is one of the Pace Cars that Chevrolet built to commemorate Camaro's pacing honors at the 53rd running of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing, the Indianapolis 500. This is a genuine, Norwood-built Z11 car presented in factory correct Dover White with Hugger Orange SS stripes and an orange houndstooth interior. Under the factory correct Cowl Induction hood is the original 350cid/300hp V8 backed by a Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission. The car is equipped with optional power steering, power disc brakes, power top, front and rear spoilers, rear bumper over-riders, center console and "Horseshoe" shifter. This Pace Car is a four owner car from new and spent time in a large collection devoted to Pace Cars. It was expertly repainted in the mid '90s and remains very original throughout.
