Renowned designer Richard Teague penned the Caribbean's handsome lines with elements inspired by the 1952 Packard Pan American. Only 750 examples, all convertibles, were produced in this first year of availability. This Packard has just received a fresh cosmetic restoration after coming out of a private Packard collection with new paint, chrome and engine overhaul to factory specs. This stunning car is powered by its original 327/180hp inline 8 cylinder engine with the optional Ultramatic transmission. The beautiful Cream finish with red interior is richly appointed in leather and trimmed with stylish chrome appointments. Chrome wire wheels with wide white wall tires add to the classic richness of this era automobile. The Continental Kit was standard equipment. It is optioned generously including power windows and is period correct in all regards. This superlative 1953 Packard Caribbean convertible would be a welcome addition to any collection.
