Campaigned in the 2006-2007 racing season, this V-Rod Destroyer was piloted by 2-time world land speed record holder Valerie Thompson. Sponsored by Hacienda Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale, Arizona. This is the motorcycle that launched Valerie's career, catapulting her to worldwide recognition under the watchful eye and guidance of Hacienda's owner, Rich Hatch. The V-Rod Destroyer is a manufacturer's purpose built drag bike designed to compete in NHRA sanctioned events. The bike owner is only allowed to make minor modifications and comes ready to race, and even includes the wheelie bars. Valerie took this Destroyer and finished 2nd place in the Western Division for 2007 and 3rd place overall while also earning Best Appearing Team award for 2007.
