Description
Custom lightweight aluminum body by Williams & Pritchard in the style of a 330LMB. Full undertray, roll cage and full instrumentation. Lexan side and rear windows.
Full 250GTO 'plus' specification engine that develops about 300bhp. 6 twin-choke Weber carburetors, high lift cams, high compression pistons and modified big valve cylinder head. Full dry sump lubrication system with rear mounted oil tank. Cold air box, aluminum radiator. Fuel cell and twin electric pumps. Ferrari 4-speed gearbox with competition 2-plate clutch. ZF limited slip differential. 5 Borrani aluminum 15" 1964 Ferrari GTO wire wheels with high speed Pirelli tires, together with 4 16" aluminum Compomotive race wheels and Pirelli P Zero race tires.
Sold new in April 1964 by Maranello Concessionaires (Order # 141). Mike McQuaker, the second owner, purchased it in 1968. Then followed 20 years of racing and constant development.
The continual development resulted in many wins and good results whilst racing in Europe, including winning the coveted Maranello Challenge for front engined Ferraris in 1986.
