Description
The 275 GTB was introduced at the end of 64 and raised the standard of road going GT cars to a new level. One year later, with the announcement of the long nose version, the bar was raised considerably higher and it was, without doubt, at that time, the best sporting car in the world.
This car has the desirable options of an aluminum body, six Weber carburetors, competition fuel tank filler, and competition type, outside laced, Borrani wire wheels.
British specialist, Terry Hoyle, went completely through the engine and running gear in the early 1990's. Renowned coachbuilder, Rod Jolley, stripped and refurbished the body. The car has been driven for less than 1,000 miles since this work was completed.
All signs are that the indicated 28,000km (17,500 miles) is an accurate record.
