The 2009 VMAX from Star Motorcycles is a radical reinvention of this legendary muscle bike featuring an astonishing 1680cc V4 engine pumping out nearly 200 horsepower right off the showroom floor for eye-opening acceleration. State-of-the-art technologies normally reserved for sport bikes and world-class racing machines give the VMAX superb performance and handling. Its engine and exhaust pipes are dressed up with JPD accessories available exclusively through Star Motorcycles and your local Yamaha dealer, along with custom-built billet wheels with Metzeler ME880 tires, ASV levers and stainless steel brake lines from Russell Performance Products and also available through Yamaha Parts and Accessories. Custom paint is by Benny Flores. Although this Jay Leno VMAX is one of a kind, the 2010 VMAX is available from Star Motorcycles and your local Yamaha dealer in very limited numbers. Customers have until November 30, 2009 to place a deposit with their Star dealer. This custom VMAX is brand new and comes with the manufacturer's certificate of origin.
All proceeds of the sale will benefit Bailey's Cafe(www.baileyscafe.org), a Brooklyn, NY program that uses poetry, theater, video, writing, music, dance, cooking and fine arts to build community and inter-generational understanding and respect in inner-city neighborhoods.
