Details: "Bubble Window". The car underwent a complete frame-off restoration by the owner in 2003-2007. The engine and transmission were rebuilt by Perry's Motorcycles in Texas. The paint work was done by Doug at Starside Design of Riverside, California. The electrical and assembly work was done by the owner who was a former SCCA race car driver and fabricator in the late 1960's. The car is equipped with Minilite 8-spoke wheels, Monza gas cap, wooden steering wheel, navigation instruments like a Halda Tripmaster odometer, Lucas-style tripod headlights with rock guards, Notek spot lights, brass inspection light, rear fog and reversing light, tow rope, towing eyelets, sump guard, tools and other rally gear that are period-correct for a 1950's to 1960's rally car. The chaincase and front wheel bearings were replaced with sealed bearings and can be run without grease or rebuilding. A fuel gauge, head temp gauge and full instruments are painted to match the Isetta speedometer. The engine has a Hahs electronic ignition system, high compression piston and electronic fuel cutoff. There is a push-button starter solenoid in the engine bay. Car comes with full photo documentation of the restoration of almost 1,100 restoration photos.
