Our Signature Barrett-Jackson Show Shine Wash clears away ingrained grime and pollutants to leave paintwork in prime preparation for scratch removal treatment. It can also be used as a general wash followed by the Barrett-Jackson Protective Shine Wax. Surface preparation is crucial when renovating paintwork.
How often does my car need polishing?
For optimum shine and protection, we advise to polish your car every 8 weeks. For best results buff with the Barrett-Jackson Deep Shine Cloth to achieve a high gloss finish.
Does polishing my car rub the paint away?
Not at all! Polishing is definitely advisable for your car as it removes paint oxidation and ingrained dirt. Barrett-Jackson products have protective ingredients designed to extend the life of your paint's finish. If you do have any color on your cloth, this means that the paint on your car is single-stage paint, and may require more maintenance.
Can I polish in direct sunlight?
Unfortunately not, polishes dry too quickly in direct sunlight and this in turn makes the surface difficult to buff to a high gloss finish.

How often should I wax my car?

What type of Wax is the Barrett-Jackson Protective Shine Wax?
Barrett-Jackson Protective Shine Wax is a blend of the finest carnauba wax and polymer waxes optimized with additives to provide an ultra high gloss with excellent durability.
The paintwork on my car is scuffed. How can I return it to a good state?

How do I remove swirl marks from my car?
The easiest way to remove swirl marks from your vehicle is to use Barrett-Jackson Deep Shine Micro Polish. Simply apply a small amount of product to a slightly dampened Barrett-Jackson Rapid Applicator pad. Using medium pressure, rub across the swirl mark in straight back and forth movements changing direction regularly. Repeat until the swirl mark has disappeared.

It will have to be dealt with by a bodyshop.

How do I use the red and black Barrett-Jackson Rapid Applicators found in the pack?
Barrett-Jackson Rapid Applicators are specially engineered to reduce effort and increase effectiveness when applying Barrett-Jackson Signature Car Care products. Use the red applicator to apply the Barrett-Jackson Signature Rapid Scratch Remover and the black applicator to apply polish or wax.
