Bidder Credential Packet
All registered bidders will receive a packet that includes credentials for the registered bidder and one guest.
Please Note: Due to time constraints, packets are not mailed outside the U.S. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Bidder Registration Requirements
Bidders will be issued a bidder paddle number only after all items have been received, and your method of payment for vehicle purchases have been approved. Bidder credentials will not be issued if the application is incomplete, or if required items are omitted.
- On-site Buyer’s Commission: 10%
- Absentee Buyer’s Commission: 12%
- On-site Automobilia Buyer’s Commission: 15%
- Absentee Automobilia Buyer’s Commission: 17%
Note: Payment is required for each vehicle purchased on the day of the sale. A Buyer’s Premium is calculated and added to the Hammer Price. As the buyer, you are responsible for payment of this premium, as well as all applicable fees and taxes, at the time of payment.
Bidder Agreement Form
Advance registration deadline is February 29, 2008
In order to obtain your credentials via Priority Mail during the second week of March 2008, all materials must be received by February 29, 2008.
Please Note: You may register to bid at any time prior to the auction, or you may bring all materials with you and register on-site in the Auction Office throughout the event.
- Fill in the required fields on the registration form.
- Print the bidder application form.
- Sign the application where indicated (Registration is not complete without your signatures.)
- Payment of the $200 Registration Fee, if received by February 29, $250 following February 29, 2008:
To charge the registration fee to your credit card, enter the card type, number and expiration date on the application form before mailing, OR enclose a personal or business check.

Additional Required Items
You are required to submit the following items with your Bidder Agreement Form:
- Copy of current driver’s license.
- Recent color photograph, if you are registering for the first time. Photos may be emailed to us at bidders@barrett-jackson.com. (Please be sure to include your name as indicated on the Bidder Registration Form.)
- Proof of current auto insurance as required by Arizona State Law. At time of purchase, arrangements may be made in advance with your own insurance company, or you may obtain insurance from Hagerty Collector Car Insurance who will be on-site throughout the event.
- Verification of payment method for vehicle purchase(s). (Minimum bid limit $30,000.) To pay for vehicle purchase(s), please select at least one of the following payment options:
- Bank Letter of Guaranty: To use a personal or business check as a payment method, you are required to submit a Bank Letter of Guaranty to validate your desired bid limit. (Please refer to the Bank Letter Format provided.) Checks must be drawn from the account that appears on your Bank Letter.
- Banking information must be the same on the application and on the Bank Letter of Guaranty.
- Please use the most current format of the Bank Letter of Guaranty.
- Cash: To use cash as a payment method, an advance deposit of 10% for on-site bidders and 20% for absentee bidders of your desired bid limit is required at time of registration. ($30,000 bid limit = $3,000 deposit for an on-site bidder or $6,000 deposit for an absentee bidder) This will be applied to your purchase, or returned to you on-site in the Auction Office if you do not purchase a vehicle.
- Cashier’s checks: To use cashier's checks as a payment method the original cashier's checks are required, either for the 10% deposit or the full amount of your desired bid limit.
- Note:
- Cashier’s Check must be made payable to Barrett-Jackson Auction Company, NOT the bidder.
- Only cash or cashier check(s) will be accepted for the 10% deposit.
We no longer accept personal checks.
- Drafts are only accepted when routed through a U.S. Bank in US Funds.
- Bank of America Credit Card: Include your Bank of America Account Number on the application. Bank of America will approve your bid limit at the start of the auction. We will have a copy of the approval along with your bidder credential waiting for you in the "Pre-Registered Bidder Pick-up" area.

- Business Accounts and Debit Accounts are not accepted.
- No other credit cards are accepted for vehicle purchases.
- Hagerty Finance: Hagerty Finance will pre-approve your simple interest, term loan amount before or at the start of the auction and will submit a letter of credit to validate your desired bid limit to the auction office.
To get pre-approved for a loan from Hagerty Finance:

Dealers
In addition to the requirements specified, the following items must be submitted to obtain your bidder credential:
- Copy of your current Dealer’s License.
- Copy of your State Resale License / Tax ID Number.
- Bank Letter of Guaranty: To pay for vehicle purchases with a company check, the check must be drawn from the business account that appears on the bank letter.
- If you are a representative of the company, you must submit an Authorization to Bid Letter, written by the Principal of the company in whose name the Dealer’s License is issued.
- If you are the owner and your name does not appear on the license or Tax ID Certificate, you must submit a Verification of Dealer Ownership.
Additional Purchases
Auction participants may purchase additional credentials at time of registration for inclusion in their credential packet, or upon arrival. You may write your request for additional items directly on the Bidder Agreement Form and include payment.
Prices for additional item(s) are as follows:
Guest Passes: $100 per person
Gala Tickets: $75 per person
