Internet Bidding
Can't make it to the live auction? Barrett-Jackson will again be offering the exciting opportunity to bid from the comfort of home using your computer. You will be able to bid using a user friendly Interface that will let you see and hear the auction action live. Buyers can preview lots prior to the live bidding.

For those of you who do not have an Internet connection, we will continue to provide an experienced staff to receive your telephone bids.

Can't make it to a computer or your telephone, let us know which lot(s) your interested in and your maximum bid and we will have a member of our experienced staff bid on your behalf.
Bidder Registration Requirements
To bid on a vehicle during the Barrett-Jackson event, you must first complete the registration process. Bidders will be issued a bidder paddle number only after the following items have been received, and your method of payment for vehicle purchases has been approved. A Bidder Number will not be issued if the application is incomplete, or if required items are omitted.
Absentee Buyer's Commission: 12%
Absentee Automobilia Buyer's Commission: 17%
All Absentee Bidding requests must be received no later than 24 hours prior to day the Lot Number crosses the block.
Note: Payment is required for each vehicle purchased on the day of the sale. A Buyer's Premium of 12% and 17% for Automobilia is calculated and added to the Hammer Price. As the buyer, you are responsible for payment of this premium, as well as all applicable fees and taxes, at time of payment.
Absentee Bidder Agreement Form
- Fill in the required fields on the registration form.
- Print the bidder application form.
- Sign the form where indicated (Registration is not complete without your signatures.)
- Payment of the $100 Registration Fee:
To charge the registration fee to your credit card, enter the card type, number and expiration date on the application form before mailing, OR enclose a personal or business check.

Additional Required Items
You are required to submit the following items with your Bidder Agreement Form:
- Copy of Current Driver’s License
- Proof of Current Auto Insurance. You must also submit proof of insurance, as required by Arizona state law. At time of purchase arrangements may be made in advance with your own insurance company, or you may obtain insurance from Hagerty Collector Car Insurance who will be on-site throughout the event.
- Verification of Payment Method for vehicle purchase(s). (Minimum bid limit $30,000.) To pay for vehicle purchase(s), please select at least one of the following payment options:
- Personal or Business check: To use a personal or business check as a payment method, you are required to submit a Bank Letter of Guaranty to validate your desired bid limit. (Please refer to the Bank Letter Format provided.) Checks must be drawn from the account that appears on your Bank Letter.
- Banking information must be the same on the application and Bank Letter of Guaranty.
- Please use the most current format of the Bank Letter of Guaranty.
- Cash: To use cash as a payment method, an advance deposit of 20% of your desired bid limit is required at time of registration. ($30,000 bid limit = $6,000 deposit for an absentee bidder) This will be applied to your purchase, or returned to you
if you do not purchase a vehicle.
- Cashier’s Checks: To use cashier's checks as a payment method the original cashier's checks are required, either for the 20% deposit or the full amount of your desired bid limit.
- Note:
- Cashier’s Check must be made payable to Barrett-Jackson Auction Company, NOT the bidder.
- Only cash or cashier check(s) will be accepted for the 20% deposit.
- NO drafts will be accepted.
- Bank of America Credit Card: Include your Bank of America Account Number on the application. Bank of America will not be able to approve your bid limit until the start of the auction.

No other credit cards are accepted for vehicle purchases.
Dealers
In addition to the requirements specified, the following items must be submitted to obtain your bidder credential:
- Copy of your current Dealer’s License.
- Copy of your State Resale License / Tax ID Number.
- Bank Letter of Guaranty: To pay for vehicle purchases with a company check, the check must be drawn from the business account that appears on the bank letter.
- If you are a representative of the company, you must submit an Authorization to Bid Letter, written by the Principal of the company in whose name the Dealer’s License is issued.
- If you are the owner and your name does not appear on the license or Tax ID Certificate, you must submit a Verification of Dealer Ownership Letter.
