This genuine X77-code Z/28 is documented with the original Protect-O-Plate and a copy of its original sales invoice from Mirak Chevrolet in Arlington, MA. It was delivered new on December 5, 1969. The result of an all-new, body-off restoration, this Z/28 wears its factory shade of Daytona Yellow, which was done in a two-stage finish, with a yellow interior. It's powered by its matching-numbers 302/290hp engine with correct DZ Holley carburetor backed by a Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission turning a BU-coded 3.73 posi-traction rear end. It's equipped with factory cowl induction, correct smog system, power steering, and power brakes that provide stopping power for the 15x7 Rally wheels shod in Goodyear wide treads. This Z/28 features deluxe houndstooth upholstery, wood-grain dash trim, 8,000 rpm tachometer, console with gauges, standard AM radio, all-new tinted glass, chrome, and trim, factory-ordered Endura bumper, and the D80 front and rear spoiler package.
