Description
Lot #728 - The Aluma Truck is a Boyd Coddington original with a body, chassis and engine created completely from aluminum using state-of-the-art processes, machinery and concepts. When complete, it is expected to weigh only between 950 and 1,000 pounds. To create the Aluma Truck, Coddington manufactured frame rails, front I-beam axles, aluminum spindles, and even brakes out of aluminum. The Aluma Truck has an aluminum small block Chevrolet engine with all aluminum componentry, and a Winters quick-change rear end all from aluminum.
