Lot #130 - Complete frame off modified restoration of a 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. Over $60,000 on restoration, plus hundreds of hours. Everything on the car is new, sheet metal, wiring, lights, rubber, interior, suspension built to Shelby GT 350 specs. Vintage A/C, ultimate audio stereo system, Ford AOD with overdrive, balanced driveshaft, posi 3.73 rear end, sub frame connectors, traction bars, KYB performance shocks, Boyd Coddington 17" wheels, SSBC 4 wheel disc brakes, ceramic coated headers, 2 1/2" Flowmaster exhaust, tri-bar headlights, and L.E.D. rear lights. Orignial 289 block and heads, rebuilt by Central Flordia Machine & Speed INC with 1500 miles.With a Paxton Supercharger, roller rockers, competition cam, TRW forged pistons, and ported and polished heads, this motor is over 400 horsepower. Supercharger boost pressure is 8lb and compression is 9.5:1.The Paxton is a replica of the original 1966 Shelby GT 350 option offered for an additional $400 in that year.The base coat clear coat was laid by Tom Miller Enterprises with a Viper Blue metallic base and 9 coats of clear, with excetional work on shaving all the body components, door handles, cowl panel, body seams, etc. The artwork on the hood and the flames was done by hand by the artist, Steve Orin, known as "Airhead". Interior details include engine turned aluminum, suede leather seat inserts, custom gauges,competition stereo with 5 cockpit speakers, 2 10 inch subs, kicker amp, 6 disc changer all installed by Ultimate Audio.
