Lot #419 - Vehicle was bought in 1995 by John Kiewicz (then of Car Craft Magazine, now of Motor Trend) for use as a car craft project car to be restored /modified and appear in a special issue commemorating the Camaro's 35th anniversary. The Camaro was in over 50 issues in car craft, including 2 covers, has appeared in Motor Trend and Chevy High Performance, and was used in Tommy Hilfinger ad campaign. The project goal was to blend the best elements of new and old Camaros to create the ultimate modern tech muscle car. The body was fully restored using Dupont materials and was fit with new front fenders, inner fenders, GM cowl hood, doorskins, deck lid, and trunk spoiler. Suspension fully rebuilt using wares from global west, Hotchkis, and PST. Drive train consists of; 95 Camaro LT1 EFI V-8, Corvette ECM, 4l60-E overdrive transmission, Borla polished dual exhaust, rebuilt rear end, zr-1 17 inch wheels with new BF Goodrich G-force T/A tires, Baer racing brakes, restored convertible top, deluxe interior with 97 Camaro 35th anniversary bucket front seats, new bumpers, grill, tail lights, weather stripping, and wiring harness.
