Description
Lot #1240 - Serial #001 P-51B theme. It has 27 actual miles and comes with all of the books, paperwork and the Window Sticker. It is one of the most limited production runs from the Roush camp and was personally designed by Jack as a tribute to the P-51 fighter plane. The Roush P-51A was one of the most anticipated and sought-after Mustangs in the company's history. This aeronautical-themed Mustang was limited to just 51 serialized units, each with 510hp and 510 ft/lbs of torque. The Roush technicians went under the hood and replaced many of the internal components in the P-51B, such as swapping to a forged aluminum pistons with an increased dish to lower the compression ration from 9.8 to 8.6, forged steel H-beam connecting rods and a forged steel crankshaft. The fuel rails are changed, as are the fuel injectors and an upgraded fuel pump. Roush also adds a secondary sheave FEAD, upgrades the clutch and includes a custom-calibration for the ECM. New 6-piston brakes will provide the necessary stopping power. From the Jack Miller Mustang Barn Collection.
