Details
The quintessential Maserati Ghibli is known as one of the most stylish and best performing automobiles produced by Maserati. It has gone through a complete nut-and-bolt refurbishing, bringing it back to factory standards as new. The originality of the vehicle reflects 21,000 miles and is powered by a 4.7-liter double overhead cam V8 engine coupled to a 5-speed ZF manual transmission. This Ghibli has the added honor of being owned by 'Old Blue Eyes,' Mr. Frank Sinatra. The car was purchased new by his son-in-law, Wes Farrel, and Frank bought the car from him in 1973, which at the time he installed his personal license plate, FAS IV, registered to Frank Sinatra on Frank Sinatra Road in Rancho Mirage, CA. Mr. Sinatra then sold the car after a few years to actor George Hamilton, who, after his ownership, sold it to Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy's, and the car became part of his collection.
