Introduced at the 2009 Frankfurt Show, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG succeeded the SLR McLaren as Stuttgart's top-of-the-line supercar. Bristling with cutting-edge technologies and visually recalling the revered 300SL of the 1950s with its radical 'gullwing' doors, the SLS AMG is historic as the first automobile completely designed by Mercedes' legendary tuning/racing division, AMG. Powered by AMG's proprietary 563hp 6.2-liter M159 V8 engine mated to the AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, performance is electrifying with 3.5-second 0-60 mph sprints, 11-second quarter-mile times, and an electronically governed 196 mph top end, plus race-derived handling and braking to match its forward urge. While SLS AMG performance is stunning, there are no sacrifices with its purposeful and driver-centric, yet incredibly well-equipped interior featuring an audiophile-quality Infotainment system, climate control, and full power features. Production of the SLS AMG commenced at Sindelfingen, Germany in January 2010, European sales began in mid-2010, and the first North American models were available during mid-2011. A total of 2,734 SLS AMGs were sold in the United States, including 884 Roadsters and 1,837 Gullwing Coupes. As one of the finest expressions of AMG's partnership with Mercedes-Benz, this Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing Coupe from the inaugural 2011 model year naturally caught the eye of Siegfried Fischbacher of Siegfried & Roy fame, who purchased the car via Barrett-Jackson in June 2019. While already striking in Iridium Silver Metallic paint over classic red leather upholstery, the vehicle was subsequently fitted with a full chrome body wrap for greater exclusivity and service was performed for Mr. Fischbacher at Fletcher Jones Imports. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
