1940 PACKARD 110 CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE: Selling with No Reserve at the 2023 Las Vegas Auction

This 1940 Packard 110 Convertible ZZ4 was built by Michigan Hot Rod Builder Ed Micol, who started with a very solid original body and frame. Powered by a 350ci crate engine with aluminum heads, a 700R4 automatic transmission, and a new 9-inch Ford rear axle with 3.50 gear. It is equipped with imitation style fuel injection air cleaner, Edelbrock 600cfm carburetor with electric choke, chrome master cylinder and booster, and an aluminum radiator with electric fan, custom shroud, March aluminum pulleys and front dress set-up. Rides on Fatman front stub with rack & pinion steering, front sway bar, Posies rear super slide spring kit, power brakes, new drive shaft and yokes.
Finished in House of Kolor Kosmos Red the exterior is equipped with Hagen fuel door kit, V-butt windshield, electric wipers, Smoothie running boards, LED taillights with a 3rd brake light, new black convertible top, custom-made trim moldings made from ½-inch half-round brass stock chromed and 17-inch Foose custom Billet aluminum rims. The custom interior features an IDIDIT tilt column, spoke aluminum steering wheel, bucket seats, console and seat belts, a custom reworked dash, custom Autometer gauges, Lokar floor shifter, and hidden custom Autosound radio, power steering and heat and air conditioning. It was shown for the first time at the 56th Detroit Autorama.
