DESCRIPTION
This custom 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible is finished in Candy Apple Red with a customized brown Italian leather interior. This Bel Air sits on an Art Morrison chassis and is powered by a 572ci big-block engine equipped with an electronic fuel injection system with an Aeromotive fuel pump and baffle system, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. An aluminum dual-pass radiator and transmission cooler were installed, along with custom headers and a stainless-steel exhaust system with custom cutouts added. 13″ Wilwood brake rotors and 4-piston calipers put stopping power to the Schott wheels. Power windows, vent windows and rear quarter windows were installed, along with a power top. The custom interior features an Ididit tilt steering column attached to a body color painted smaller-diameter steering wheel, Vintage Air and Dakota Digital gauges, and to operate all the electrical features in the cockpit, a custom American Autowire kit was installed, including a built-in battery charger and battery cutoff switch. The entire underside is chromed and powder-coated.
