It’s that time of year when the taste of pumpkin spice seems to permeate our very being, and the chillier weather signals the arrival of the fall harvest.
Yet behind this picturesque scene lies the machinery that makes it all possible. Tractors, powerful and reliable, stand as the silent heroes of the season.
Over the years, Barrett-Jackson has seen a number of tractors motor across the world-famous auction block, highlighting brands that include Lamborghini, Porsche and the quintessential John Deere. SCOTTSDALE 2022 – 1966 LAMBORGHINI TRACTOR Pictured above, this 1966 Lamborghini 1R tractor underwent a restoration that was completed by Garage 961. From The Flying Marlin Collection.
SCOTTSDALE 2023 – 1947 MCCORMICK ORCHARD 0-4 TRACTOR This 1947 McCormick-Deering 0-4 Orchard Streamline tractor was built by the International Harvester Company in Rock Island, Illinois. It features a rebuilt 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with reverse.
SCOTTSDALE 2023 – 1965 LAMBORGHINI 3C TL TRACTOR This limited-production factory 1965 Lamborghini 3C TL was the most powerful and most expensive Lamborghini tractor at the time of its release. It is powered by a 39hp Lamborghini air-cooled 2.2-liter diesel inline 3-cylinder FL3 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission with a high/low transfer case.
SCOTTSDALE 2018 – 1960 PORSCHE STANDARD T217 TRACTOR This Porsche Standard T217 tractor is powered by a 2-cylinder air-cooled engine and 3-speed manual transmission and is equipped with an oil bath filter, triple-bearing crankshaft and a radial cooling fan.
PALM BEACH 2022 – 1963 LAMBORGHINI 2R TRACTOR Although not widely known, Lamborghini’s first foray into the “vehicle” market was with farm tractors starting in 1948. This 1963 Lamborghini tractor (“trattore” in Italian) is the rarer 2R model.
SCOTTSDALE 2017 – 1950 JOHN DEERE M TRACTOR Introduced in 1947, the John Deere Model M was the first John Deere with a vertical valve-in-head engine. Considered a one-row tractor, the M used only regular gasoline.
SCOTTSDALE 2018 – 1950 OLIVER 77 ORCHARD TRACTOR This 1950 Oliver 77 orchard tractor has undergone a frame-up restoration and originally hails from an orchard south of Phoenix, Arizona.
SCOTTSDALE 2020 – 1939 ALLIS CHALMERS B TRACTOR This 1939 Allis Chalmers Model B tractor with a factory-attached sickle bar mower received a meticulous over-the-top restoration. It features a rebuilt, correct factory 116ci 4-cylinder Allis Chalmers engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission.
SCOTTSDALE 2022 – 1951 MASSEY-HARRIS 44 ORCHARD TRACTOR This 1951 Massey-Harris 44 Orchard Streamline tractor was only produced in 1950 and 1951. Approximately 120 gas versions were made during its two-year production.
