A Harley Knucklehead model from 1947 brought in $63,800, while a pair of Indian motorcycles – a 1913 Indian Twin and a 1951 Indian Chief – each sold for $44,000.

The top-selling piece of automobilia on Tuesday was this 1940s Chevrolet Neon Tin Sign, which sold for $36,800.

A selection of Winkler’s 400-plus neon signs, gas pumps and more were also out in force during the morning’s Automobilia Auction, where over 300 nostalgic pieces of automotive-related memorabilia had their turn on the block. Among the highlights of Tuesday’s automobilia sales were two impressive neon signs – a 1940s Chevrolet bowtie logo example that sold for $36,800 and a “BAR” sign from the 1930s-40s that brought in$30,475. Two beautifully restored gas pumps were also among the top sellers: a Polly Oil model from 1934 that went to its new home for $28,750 and a 1925 Standard Gold Crown Gasoline visible pump that sold for $26,450. Also ending up among the top automobilia sales on Tuesday was a rare 1940s Dodge Dependable Service porcelain sign that brought in $24,150.
