If you are headed to Barrett-Jackson’s 12th Annual Las Vegas Auction, here is some useful information to help you navigate the world-famous automotive lifestyle event.

  • The entire event runs for three days, from Thursday, October 3, through Saturday, October 5.
  • Wednesday, October 2, is Preview Day, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for registered bidders and consignors over the age of 18 only.
  • car displaysMore than 600 cars and 300 automobilia items – all offered with No Reserve, meaning they will sell to the highest bidder – will be on display for all to see right from the beginning, with many still on-site even after they cross the auction block.
  • Automobilia (automotive-related memorabilia) and collector cars will cross the block daily beginning on Thursday, October 3.
  • Rain in the forecast? Don’t worry! Most of the auction site is under cover – except for the Toyota and Dodge Thrill Rides, a not-to-miss attraction located just outside the auction arena.
  • Even if you’re not a huge fan of cars, there is plenty to do and see: a vast marketplace with dozens of exhibitors, a wide variety of dining options, interactive exhibits from sponsors and fantastic people-watching (keep your eyes open for celebrities). Be sure to check out the new TechForce STEM Center presented by Shell and powered by Pennzoil, which has a variety of interactive stations relating to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math!
  • Corvette beauty shotTV crews from MotorTrend and Discovery will be on-site throughout the week, providing 21 hours of live coverage. Alert your friends sitting at home – they may spot you on live television!
  • Like most major sporting events, Barrett-Jackson has stepped-up security. Security officers will be checking and tagging all bags at the entrance, and guests will be screened for weapons and contraband. Weapons of any type, video cameras, skateboards, drones, coolers and animals (with the exception of service animals to assist guests with disabilities) are among the prohibited items.
