Vintage and modern supercars have become a staple of the collector car hobby – for good reason. With shapes to envy, colors to inspire and enough engineering wizardry to make the Saturn V rocket blush; the world of “supercardom” is really something to behold. At the 2021 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction, the supercar presence was felt – and heard – in the auction arena. With high-performance machines from Maranello, Sant’Agata Bolognese and Detroit rumbling their way across the block, it was quite the spectacle, especially when the 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 wowed the crowd when it sold for an incredible $2.475 million.
