1969 Yenko Camaro re-creation, driven by Paul Walker in the 2003 film “2 Fast 2 Furious,” will be one of the incredible cars on display at Barrett-Jackson’s “Pit Road” Festival on November 6.
Barrett-Jackson and The Phoenix Symphony have teamed up to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Phoenix International Raceway in spectacular fashion on November 6. The special event includes a “Pit Road” Street Festival, VIP party, and special concert and world-premiere performance of “The Sound of Speed Overture.” The groundbreaking event is the first partnership of its kind between the automotive and orchestral worlds, and kicks off at 5 p.m. as 3rd Street in downtown Phoenix is transformed into “Pit Road,” where some incredible cars will be on display, including:
1949 Talbot-Lago T26 Franay Grand Sport–another star in the “Pit Road” line-up at “The Sound of Speed” event.
1953 Corvette NASCAR owned by Bill France
2008 Bugatti Veyron (the most expensive car ever produced and recognized as the fastest street-legal production car in the world)

Former “Dukes of Hazzard” star Tom Wopat will serve as the event’s MC and guest performer in “The Sound of Speed” multi-media concert, and will be on hand at the VIP pre-concert party to autograph PGA golfer Bubba Watson’s beloved 1969 Dodge Charger, better known as the “General Lee” from “The Dukes of Hazzard” TV series.
Tickets for the “Pit Road” festival are just $10. Tickets to the performance portion of the evening range from $30 to $99 and include complimentary access to the Barrett-Jackson “Pit Road” prior to the concert.
