Vintage racing is one of the most exciting and colorful facets of the the collector car hobby. At the Monterey Motorsports Reunion, the Trans Am field is packed with more than 40 examples of American muscle cars. Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson races the #3 Javelin shown here. Back in 1969 and 1970, the car was originally raced by road-race ace Jerry Grant. Now, as then, the #3 Javelin is fast and competitive. It really draws a crowd with its patriotic paint scheme and angry sounding V8.
