“The French Connection” steals the show

Boyd Coddington’s last build, “The French Connection,” attracted a lot of attention at Barrett-Jackson’s SEMA booth this week.

The Specialty Equipment Market Association, a.k.a SEMA, takes over the Las Vegas Convention Center each November to showcase and unveil the latest and greatest in the automotive aftermarket. While innovative products are headlined, it’s the cars that really steal the show. Manufacturers, custom builders and industry leaders from across the globe clamor to outdo one-another with custom rides that are out of this world.

Each year Barrett-Jackson salutes this passion by showcasing current Scottsdale auction cars at SEMA, and this year’s lineup was nothing short of spectacular:

The Barrett-Jackson Booth at SEMA 2015 showcased three of the superstar vehicles headed for the 45th Anniversary Scottsdale Auction in January.

During their visit to SEMA, students from the Alex Xydias Center for Automotive Arts stopped by to say hello to Barrett-Jackson President Steve Davis and pose with this 1932 Ford Hi-Boy Roadster. The cool custom will be crossing the block at the Scottsdale auction, with 100 percent of the hammer price benefitting the Center.

The 1932 Ford Custom known as “Double Down” was the star of Jet-Hot’s booth at SEMA this year before it crosses the block at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale Auction in January.
