SUPERCHARGED SHOPPING: Barrett-Jackson’s Incredible Exhibitor Marketplace
January 12, 2020
Posted by Barrett-Jackson
There’s a very good reason why Barrett-Jackson is referred to as a world-class automotive lifestyle event and not “just” a collector car auction. While the heartbeat of every event is indeed the most sought-after vehicles in the world crossing the auction block, the myriad of other things to do and see at each event will entice even those not particularly interested in cars.
In addition to the thousands of vehicles on display (those up for auction and more), thrill rides and hot laps from top automakers, live music and plenty of great options when it comes to dining, a huge attraction at every Barrett-Jackson event is the Sponsor Pavilion and Exhibitor Marketplace. At the Scottsdale Auction, we literally mean huge – with over 300 exhibitors and sponsors covering nearly one million square feet of space on the vast auction site.
The Exhibitor Marketplace is a veritable shopper’s paradise. You’ll find everything from automotive art and aftermarket products to luxury handbags and jewelry, fashion-forward clothing, high-end hot tubs, massage chairs, exquisite home and garden furnishings and décor – let your imagination run wild!
Just like the vehicles that cross the Barrett-Jackson Auction block are a diverse offering, so are the businesses you’ll find at the exceptional Exhibitor Marketplace. Just take a look at a few of our newest unique exhibitors, and we think you’ll agree there’s something special going on here.
AVIATOR CYCLES
The future is here! An advanced propulsion technology company with vehicles they say will “change the world,” Aviator Cycles will be bringing a full size replica of their true all-terrain Personal Air Vehicle (PAV), the Aerorunner GSX, capable of flying over any surface, as well as an example of their 9-foot flying platform.
GREGORY TOMB GLASSBLOWING STUDIO
Glassblowing at Barrett-Jackson? You bet. Gregory Tomb will be bringing a hands-on experience to Scottsdale, where not only can you watch a master glassblower at work, but also can purchase exquisite pieces or even sign up to take a class on-site! Participants aged 7 (with parents) and above can make a piece of blown glass from beginning to end. Pick a project, pick your colors and participate in each step of the process.

THE PAINTED LADIES
This Arizona-based family owned business has a deep love for Arizona and let that love show through their artwork. They use salvaged wood to create their canvases and hand-sketch or hand-paint each piece. Not only will you find home décor when you stop by their display, but also their unique art on a T-shirt to wear.
HOME FIELDS
Sports fans, take note! If you have a love of your home team, why not show your loyalty? Home Fields brings 3D replicas of different sports stadiums and arenas to the Scottsdale Auction ‒ including college football stadiums, pro football stadiums, pro baseball stadiums and a number of college basketball and pro hockey arenas. About 150 different stadiums and arenas are available in four different sizes; all can be lit to give an appearance of a game in progress.
OLD SCHOOL ALEX PRINTMAKER
While printmaking is a traditional art form, Old School Alex adds a contemporary flare. On display will be numerous pieces of art, from limited-edition prints of various sizes, and the original woodblocks from which the prints were pulled. Alex is also passionate about educating his visitors on the printing process, explaining each step from the first sketch to the carving and reduction process, and where it all comes together in the printing. Visitors will enjoy Alex’s live demonstration of carving or printing at this very special display.
ABSTRACT LIGHTING
Abstract Lighting specializes in all aspects of accent lighting from landscape lighting to specialty fiber optics. They offer a “one stop shop” from landscape lighting design to installation and repair. At Barrett-Jackson, you’ll enter a simulation of a residential home, where their portfolio will be showcased around the space. (Be sure to say hello to their Shitzu therapy dog Lola, who has become somewhat of a legend in her own right!)
