The one-and-only Las Vegas Strip – with its unique landmarks, kaleidoscope of colors and gleaming hotel complexes, is quite something to see from any angle, but there’s no doubt the stunning views are amplified with altitude!
While the options are many, we’ve narrowed it down to half a dozen superb places to take in a sunset, marvel at all the neon lights and enjoy all that is unique about the Entertainment Capital of the World – starting with one right at the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction host property.

“Elevate Your Dining” is the tagline of this eclectic restaurant and cocktail lounge, located 63 stories above the Strip. Once a private club but now open to the public, the ornate Tibetan-themed venue is adorned with lush carpets and Eastern artifacts, complementing the global palette reflected on its menu. Enjoy the daily Rooftop Happy Hour from 5 to 8 p.m. featuring small plates and drink specials, or relax with dinner in the dining room beginning at 6 p.m. nightly – all served up with a jaw-dropping view of the entire Strip from its southernmost point. With an entrance hidden away on the backside of the guest elevators facing the escalators to Mandalay Bay’s beach level, the Foundation Room also offers VIP amenities and often features live entertainment.

The Eiffel Tower Experience at Paris Las Vegas
Okay, sure – it’s not as tall as the one in France, but it’s certainly worth taking the trip to the observation tower of this half-scale replica, 460 feet above the Las Vegas Strip. Open all day (but far more popular – and romantic – at night), this offers not only a fantastic panorama of the city (including a bird’s-eye view of the spectacular Fountains at Bellagio) but also the surrounding valley, including the distant mountains. Telescopes allow you to zoom in on specific landmarks around the city, and interactive tablets allow you to see what it would be like to be standing on the tower as though you were actually in France. After sunset, you can enjoy the new Eiffel Tower light show that runs every half hour. Hungry? The Eiffel Tower Restaurant sits more than 100 feet about the Strip and offers fine dining as well as floor-to-ceiling windows with some pretty impressive views as well.

At the north end of the Strip is the Stratosphere Hotel, home to the 1,149-foot Stratosphere Tower, the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States. It goes without saying that the views from the observation deck here are incredible, offering 360-degree views of the city. But for an even better experience, plan to enjoy lunch or dinner at the award-winning Top of the World Restaurant, known as one of the most romantic dining spots in the city. You’ll be rewarded not only with fabulous food, but an extravagant view from over 800 feet up of all of Las Vegas, as the restaurant revolves – completing one full revolution in about 80 minutes.

Skybar at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas
From its central location on the Strip, the 23rd-floor Skybar offers guests a direct view of the Las Vegas skyline from within the skyline itself. Depending on where you sit, you’ll either gaze onto the south end, towards New York-New York, or the north end, towards Planet Hollywood – but either way you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views that go hand-in-hand with the elite Skybar’s elegant décor and sophisticated ambiance. The collection of cocktails here – from traditional favorites to whimsical interpretations, handcrafted by mixologists from around the globe – is equally impressive and creative, many reimagined with local history in mind.

Overlooking the heart of the Strip, The Cosmopolitan’s district of three distinct Las Vegas pool experiences lets you choose the scene that best suits your mood. The Boulevard Pool is positioned at eye level with all of the surrounding hotels, providing the best view of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas without having to look up at it. Other options include The Chelsea Pool, a stylish oasis with a private canyon-like feel, and The Marquee Dayclub Pool, a vibrant beach club experience for adults that gives off a lounge-like feel by day and turns into an extension of the nightclub after the sun goes down.
