Six vehicles honored with awards at the Triple Crown of Rodding event on September 8-9 at the Nashville Speedway in Tennessee have earned the privilege to participate in the esteemed Barrett-Jackson Cup competition. This prestigious contest will take place during the 2024 Scottsdale Auction, scheduled for January 20-28 at WestWorld.
In the 2024 Barrett-Jackson Cup, 50 custom builders will vie for two prestigious awards. The first is the “People’s Choice Award,” which will be determined by votes from Barrett-Jackson enthusiasts worldwide via social media. The second is the highly coveted “Ultimate Best in Show” title, which will be chosen by two distinguished builders, Troy Trepanier and Bobby Alloway. Alloway is a principal of the Triple Crown of Rodding.
Barrett-Jackson executives will select entries from the pool of applications received. These selected entries will make a grand entrance during Family Day on Saturday, January 20, as they parade across the renowned auction block. Subsequently, they will be showcased at the Scottsdale Auction throughout the entire week.
During each of the first five weekdays (January 22-26) of the Collector Car Auction, one Top Five finalist will be revealed. On the exciting morning of Super Saturday, January 27, the stage will come alive as the “Ultimate Best in Show” victor is announced. The winner of this prestigious title, along with the recipient of the “People’s Choice Award,” will be crowned before the commencement of that day’s Collector Car Auction.
