SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Jan. 9, 2019 – Barrett-Jackson has consigned an historic 1,800 No-Reserve vehicles, the most on record for any public collector car auction, for its 48th Annual Scottsdale Auction, January 12-20, 2019, at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Among the 1,800 collector cars being sold at No Reserve during the ultimate celebration of the hobby are the highly coveted Saturday Showcase Cars, presented by E.D. Marshall and Zenith. Saturday’s offering features some of the most revered luxury, performance and rare collector cars, including a 2012 Lexus LFA Nürburgring Edition (Lot #1412), one of only 50 ever built.

Rare and low-mileage supercars are among the most anticipated vehicles in the Saturday Showcase. Set to sell at No Reserve is a 2005 Saleen S7 Twin Turbo (Lot 1415), which boasts a standing-start quarter-mile resulting in an elapsed time of 10.5 seconds at 145 mph. A limited-edition 2012 McLaren MP4-12C High Sport (Lot #1411) is number 9 of the 10 High Sport versions produced. Another supercar making its way across the Scottsdale Auction block is a 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition (Lot #1406), which honors the 40-year anniversary of the GT40’s 1-2-3 finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966, as well as its consecutive wins from 1966-69.
