LAS VEGAS – Sept. 18, 2010 – Gaudin Ford was the hot spot on Saturday, Sept. 18, as the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company kicked off its third Las Vegas automotive lifestyle event with the 3rd Annual Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Cruise-In. More than 100 Hot Rods, Resto-Mods, classics and muscle cars lined up in the dealership’s parking lot with their hoods popped, while fellow car enthusiasts checked out each other’s rides from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Local radio stations, including KOMP 92.3, 97.1 The Point and ESPN Radio 1100 played music during the cruise-in and an Elvis impersonator entertained the crowd for hours. Posters, t-shirts and tickets were raffled off by Barrett-Jackson.

Generosity was also the theme of the day at Gaudin. Hot dogs, hamburgers and additional refreshments were on sale to benefit Keep Memory Alive, a Las Vegas based organization dedicated to the treatment and cure of people suffering from neurocognitive disorders.

Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson, and Gary Bennett, vice president of consignment, were in attendance to announce three lucky recipients of the Barrett-Jackson Choice Awards. Brent Medovich, the owner of a silver 1965 Mustang Fastback, took home one of four Barrett-Jackson awards during the day. A forest green 1952 Allard Cadillac, owned by David Watson, was also a winner on Saturday. W. Carpenter, owner of a pre-war 1912 Ford Model T-Touring, was all smiles while receiving his Barrett-Jackson award. Bruce Bennett, owner of a midnight blue 1940 Ford Truck, took home the Barrett-Jackson Participant’s Choice Award, which was voted on by fellow cruise-in participants.
