Scottsdale, Ariz. – September 26, 2007 – The Barrett-Jackson Auction Company is accepting early consignment applications for classic, sports, concept and muscle cars for the 37th Annual “World’s Greatest Collector Car Event™” in Scottsdale, Ariz. From Jan. 12-20, 2008, approximately 1,000 of the world’s premier collector automobiles will be sold at No Reserve during the event, which also includes lifestyle vendors and exclusive parties on-site. SPEED cameras will once again capture the action on and off the block during its live broadcast.

“The Barrett-Jackson automotive lifestyle event in Scottsdale is the ultimate car collecting marketplace,” said Craig Jackson, Chairman/CEO of Barrett-Jackson Auction Company. “Much like a stock exchange, we’ve created a place where people can buy and sell in a fair, unbiased environment. Barrett-Jackson attracted qualified bidders with a combined ‘buying power’ in excess of $1 billion in 2007. That’s why we draw a broad selection of the best vehicles in the world and the smartest buyers in the hobby.”

Barrett-Jackson offers all vehicles at No Reserve, which means that they will be sold to the highest bidder, regardless of the selling price. Barrett-Jackson’s consignment staff reviews thousands of applications to create a diverse mix of cars that appeal to a wide range of buyers. Applications are available at www.barrett-jackson.com or at (480) 421-6694.

Early consignors have the advantage of participating in pre-auction ads, promotional materials and being listed on barrett-jackson.com. The company’s Web site averages over 4 million hits a month, offering significant support to a consignor’s vehicles.

“Barrett-Jackson’s proven ability to attract a large group of high-caliber buyers means consignors have the best opportunity to realize the maximum value of their vehicle,” added Barrett-Jackson President Steve Davis. “We encourage early consignments because it gives sellers more time to draw interest to their vehicle and allows bidders additional time to research the car of their dreams prior to the auction.”
