SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. ‒ Jan. 17, 2025 – Barrett-Jackson, The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, will offer an incredible array of coveted second- and third-generation Ford GTs headlined by a 2020 Liquid Carbon Special Edition (Lot #1398) owned by Grammy-nominated DJ Marshmello during the Scottsdale Auction, Jan. 18-26, 2025, at WestWorld of Scottsdale. The 2020 Ford GT Liquid Carbon Special Edition, one of only 30 produced, features a $250,000 exposed carbon-fiber body and is powered by a 660-horsepower twin-turbo V6 engine.
“With its success racing at Le Mans, the Ford GT has become one of the most desirable supercars in the world,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “From the 2020 Liquid Carbon Special Edition owned by DJ Marshmello to the only Grabber Orange 2019 model ever built, each one of these supercars represents an incredible opportunity to own a very special piece of American performance heritage.”
Build No. 5 of 30, the 2020 Ford GT Liquid Carbon Special Edition (Lot #1398) is part of Grammy-nominated producer DJ Marshmello’s personal collection. It is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine paired with a 7-speed transaxle, producing an exhilarating 660 horsepower and 550 ft/lbs of torque. It features a completely exposed carbon-fiber body and comes with the factory Window Sticker, build photos, owner’s manual, two master keys, a Ford Performance lithium-ion battery charger and Ford Design-spec color palette case. This GT has 87 actual miles and is accompanied by a matching carbon-fiber helmet and a VIP experience in Las Vegas for the winning bidder.
LOT #1384.1 – 2022 FORD GT – NO RESERVE
A 2022 Ford GT (Lot #1384.1) is finished in Frozen White with a Satin Frozen White full PPF wrap and is also powered by a 660hp 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine paired with the slick 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The interior includes a serialized badge, an F1-inspired Ebony Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with a Matte Carbon bezel, black anodized shift paddles and an LED rev-counter on an adjustable, stalkless telescoping column.
“The Ford GTs crossing the block in Scottsdale will be exciting for bidders and guests in the auction arena and supercar fans all over the world,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “The story of the Ford GT, first envisioned to beat Ferrari at Le Mans in 1966 and then returning there to beat them again in 2016, is the stuff of legend. That racing heritage is a testament to the engineering and design capabilities at Ford. Taking home any one of these Ford GTs will be a proud moment for the winning bidder.”
The only example ever produced in Grabber Orange, the 2019 Ford GT (Lot #1369.1) on the docket is powered by a twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 that delivers power to the dual-clutch transmission. It boasts $95,450 in factory options, including the Extended Carbon-Fiber Package, 20-inch gloss carbon-fiber wheels and an Akrapovic titanium exhaust.
In addition to the last-generation Ford GT, Barrett-Jackson will auction several 2005-06 models.
