This is a very rare, numbers matching Corvette convertible with great documentation. The last year for the Stingray convertible and only 4,629 units were made. Only 46,000 original miles. 350cid/165hp V8 engine. List of rare items: maintenance records, original equipment, and vinyl covered hardtop. This was the last year for the Corvette convertible until 1986. Also, the last year for the Stingray convertible and the last year for the Astro Ventilation. Vinyl top is 1 of 279 produced. It was the first model of Corvette to have high energy ignition and electronically driven tachometer. It was the first year for a Kilometer per hour subface on the speedometer. It was also the first model with headlight warning buzzer.
