This 1978 Limited Pace Car Edition Corvette is one of 6,502. It is a great condition survivor that still shows beautifully today. The Pace Car Package, developed to commemorate the Corvette being the pace car of the 1978 Indy 500, gave the car a unique two-tone paint job. This car can be authenticated by its VIN, which is the first time Chevrolet gave a special VIN sequence to a specific model of Corvette. This car is equipped with the optional higher-horsepower L82 350/220hp matching-numbers V8 and a 3-speed automatic transmission. This C3 is very well-equipped with features such as removable T-tops, power brakes, power steering, power windows, air conditioning, AM/FM radio and tilt/telescoping steering.
