This 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner Convertible underwent a restoration and is finished in two-tone pink and brown with a brown cloth soft top. Matching brown-and-white interior features bench seat and push-button radio. It is powered by the 312ci Thunderbird Special, a version of Ford's Y-block V8 engine, equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor and dual exhaust mated to a 2-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. The 1957 Fords featured improved handling by a redesigned front suspension with trailing lower control arms and longer rear leaf springs; on this vehicle, they are enhanced with optional Master Guide power steering. Additional features include wide whitewall tires on chromed wire wheels with 3-bar Thunderbird spinners, chromed V-bar front bumper guard, dual outside mirrors, lower sill and stone guards, as well as air conditioning.
