This factory-built 1953 Allard Motor Works J2X replica features a 6.2-liter LS3 GM crate V8 engine and a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive. It has a Maserati Pontevecchio Bordeaux exterior with rolled and tucked gray leather seats featuring Bordeaux piping and Allard embroidery. The hand-crafted aluminum dash has illuminated gauges and toggle switches. Additional features include a Flaming River steering column, Moto-Lita aluminum and mahogany steering wheel, gray carpets with burgundy piping, custom gray floor mats with an embroidered Union Jack flag, a map light, pushbutton start, a steel cockpit floor and an epoxy-reinforced fiberglass trunk floor. The CAD-designed frame is a one-piece unit made of MIG-welded tubular steel with epoxy resin-reinforced hand-laid woven fiberglass. It is equipped with two Brooklands laminated AS-1 adjustable glass windscreens.
