This custom 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is the result of a 5-year, 12,000-hour build with over $600,000 invested. Designed by award-winning automotive designer Eric Brockmeyer and built by Jesse Greening of Greening Automotive Company, this custom Camaro was featured at the SEMA Show in 2012. The body is a composite by Downs Industries, mounted on a full Art Morrison chassis. Power comes from a custom-built 582ci big-block stroker V8 engine by Prestige Motorsports, rated at 745hp and equipped with Borla 8-stack fuel injection. The engine is paired with a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission and a Ford 9-inch rear end. The chassis features an independent C5 Corvette front suspension and a 4-link rear suspension, with adjustable coilovers by Strange Engineering. Steering is handled by a power rack & pinion system, and braking comes from a Wilwood system with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers. The interior was custom-built by Steve Holcomb of Pro Auto Custom Interiors and includes leather upholstery, power windows, Classic Instruments gauges, a custom Lexan moonroof, an Alpine stereo system, and air conditioning and heat. This build features extensive one-off machined components by Greening Automotive, including the custom wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel, pedals, knobs, controls, interior trim and dash panel. This award-winning Camaro has been displayed at major shows.
