This car was purchased by the vendor from the estate of the late Seymour Laff, who had driven it for only 1,000 miles since he purchased it from Mr. Otis Chandler, of the Los Angeles Times. Although it underwent a restoration while in the ownership of Mr. Chandler, the current owner embarked on an extensive refurbishment of this fine automobile. It received a complete, frame-up body and frame restoration during 1999 and 2000. The only work remaining is to replace the missing top boot. This can be easily accomplished by the new owner. As a result of this work the car runs and drives superbly. It does not overheat!! It performed effortlrssly on a July 2001 CCCA Caravan of over 1,000 miles.
