Details
The last 20 ISO Grifo coupes to be built were fitted with the Corvette LS5 454 engine and ZF 5-speed trans. To mark this they were given the name 'Can-Am'. Weighing only 3300lbs and with 500 pounds feet of torque, the performance is electrifying. A top speed of over 175 mph can easily be achieved. 'It eats Ferraris for breakfast', said one expert. These Series 11 cars were further improved with better brakes and air conditioning and can be recognized by the covered headlights. It has recently undergone a bare metal respray and has had a new windshield glass fitted. The engine has been rebuilt, a new clutch installed and the brakes and suspension overhauled. The car is described as being well sorted out and a pleasure to drive.
